We're looking for 17 energetic, innovative CAMB members to join the 2008-2009 Board of Directors for the East Bay Chapter of CAMB. It's an
exciting opportunity to work with a great group of colleagues to effect positive change and protect our industry!
You can nominate yourself, a colleague, or any CAMB member who you believe will make a positive contribution to our leadership team.
The only official requirement for nominees is that they are members in good standing of CAMB. However, they should also be prepared to do the following:
- Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings (lasting approximately 1.5 hours each)
- Spend an average of 8 hours/month on CAMB business, including assisting with East Bay CAMB events, such as our Wine Tasting benefit, educational seminars, the Mortgage Marketplace, the Golf Tournament benefit, and other great events
- Provide valuable ideas on ways to improve the professionalismof our industry
If you wish to place your name, or the name of another person, on the ballot for East Bay CAMB Board of Directors, you must submit the nominee
information on the enclosed form by June 15, 2008. Please be sure you have checked with any individual you wish to nominate for their permission to have their name submitted. Submitted nominations will be evaluated by the East Bay CAMB Board of Directors Election Subcommittee; all eligible nominees will appear on ballots to be mailed to all CAMB East Bay members in June 2008. Voting will occur in June and the new Board will convene in July 2008.
